What is a Leaky Gut?

FREE Guide and Report <= The absolute best reading I've come across on L.G.S. so far

It is a condition that affects and damages the lining of the intestines. It is caused by various things such as toxins, food sensativity, infections, antibiotics, poor diet, radiation, and even parasites. The damaged bowel lining (gut wall) then allows substances such as bacteria, toxins, waste, incompletely digested proteins, etc to ‘leak’ through your gut wall initiating an immune reaction.

  • severe stomach pains and cramps
  • abdominal bloating
  • fever
  • fatigue
  • food sensitivity
  • malnutrition caused by nutrients not being absorbed

L.G.S. can actually cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome. L.G.S. can be the initial starting point for other disorders such as celiac disease, asthma, diabetes, lupis, and even long term diseases such as multiple sclerosis and crohns disease.

If you suffer from L.G.S., you should take action and start eating a healthier diet immediately. If you are interested in learning more about it and even curing it, then CLICK HERE for a free presentation on how to cure L.G.S..

How It Develops

It starts with the wearing away of the mucosal barrier. Your digestive tract is lined with a single cell layer of mucous that accounts for 80% of your immune system. When this mucosal barrier becomes damaged due to toxins, medications, parasites, etc, you loose a large percentage of your immune system which then leaves you vulnerable to various infections.

As the damage escalates it begins to takes its toll on the microvilli that line your intestinal walls. These tiny fingerlike projections are responsible for secreting the enzymes you need to properly digest your food and for absorbing nutrients. Eventually your digestion is heavily impaired and you start to develop nutrient deficiencies.

small intestinesThe cells of your intestinal lining are designed to link together in such a way that they form tiny tightly formed gaps that allow only fully digested nutrients through and into the bloodstream. But as the damage continues, these gap junctions become wider and wider and allow larger unwanted particles such as undigested food, toxins, parasites, bacteria, and yeast straight into your bloodstream.

Once they are in your bloodstream, these harmful substances are able to travel throughout your body. They wreak havoc and create all kinds of symptoms, many of which are completely unrelated to your gut, such as headaches, migraines, arthritis, chronic fatigue, eczema, hyperactivity, anxiety, and depression just to name a few.

Now what’s left of your immune system must work overtime to fight off all of these harmful substances that are literally leaking through your gut and into your bloodstream. Because your gut is constantly leaking, your immune system never gets a chance to properly recover and eventually becomes so overwhelmed that it begins to attack your own healthy tissue and organs. And that marks the beginning of autoimmune disease.
